On our Socials, we regularly refer to ClashRooms as the perfect team outing or the ideal company outing. These are big words that, of course, we need to be able to prove. Perhaps the best (and quick!) way to do that is to point to our reviews. Over 300 mega-enthusiastic reviews in a year and a half, hardly anyone imitates us. But for the interested reader, in this (long!) blog we also like to explain how in our ClashRooms concept we have very consciously worked to maximize the experience, accessibility and convenience for each group in every choice.
Ironclad base
Our rock-solid foundation in this regard is the game concept. (Not familiar with ClashRooms yet? Check out our website!) When we got our inspiration abroad, we immediately knew: this could become a new hype like the EscapeRoom. But for an even broader and larger audience. Playing games against each other is totally in. And certainly in the old-fashioned way, not digitally. People sit behind a screen enough as it is. That we let people have fun together and become fanatical is the strength of ClashRooms.
Location in the heart of Eindhoven
With that foundation, we then did everything we could to make ClashRooms truly great for everyone.
It starts with our location. Right in the center of Eindhoven, next to Central Station, with plenty of parking. From ClashRooms you can walk straight into town (tip: The Light Tower!), so perfect to combine with a lunch, dinner, drinks or night out.
Customized experience
And we really do claim to provide a suitable experience for every type of group. If you come with an exuberant bachelor party, we play different games than for a family day. We find it very special that we get equally enthusiastic responses from every group, whether it was a bachelor party, company outing or children's party. Our quiz questions are customized and topical, and our GameMasters choose the questions that suit your group. We very deliberately ensure an optimal experience. For a success experience too! No one is waiting for a quiz that is too difficult or too easy. We want to see people cheering, laughing and secretly feeling a little down or laughing at each other's mistakes. Everything is geared towards having fun, and with a little competition that only comes into its own!
Fun for all
We have said many times that ClashRooms is really fun for everyone and we have never had anyone not like it. We often hear people say that this could be the first time because they really don't like games. But always the opposite has been the case, and we find that often the best compliment for our concept. Our games are so accessible, so diverse and so focused on pure experience, that really everyone enjoys them.
The simplicity of our games is sometimes deceiving in this regard; simplicity is an underrated strength. We have tested many, many more games than we actually play, because it is very important to us that every game meets all our requirements.
Accessible to all
One of those conditions is that everyone must have equal opportunity in every game! Fantastic we find it to see how at a family day grandpa and grandson score point after point together in a team, completely equal to each other. And at a company outing, you don't want a game to be suitable only for the young department of the company or to be awkward with international colleagues. Physical limitations shouldn't be a factor either! ClashRooms is wheelchair accessible, and even in our “Sports” room, the games are wheelchair friendly and everyone with any disability is fully included.
Not too difficult, no fuss
Also a prerequisite for any game: it must be explainable within 30 seconds. Nobody is happy with endless instructions for an outing that is supposed to be relaxing. We want immediate action! Again, simplicity is the key to success! We have an extensive game book with all the behind-the-scenes rules, but everything is set up in such a way that a GameMaster has every group playing with just three sentences.
And “no fuss” also means that our games do not require special clothing, no sweating and no preparations. You can make your own team, but we prefer to do that randomly on the spot!
Everyone plays at the same time in the same room
Another one of those conditions whose importance to our success is often not so realized. At ClashRooms, you are working with your entire group (up to 20 people!) in the same room at the same time! And furthermore, really active at the same time. In each game all teams play against each other, you can play 1e, 2e, 3e etc become. Time often flies by because it really is an experience. Winning a game is SO much more fun when your opponents are part of it. No one sits on the sidelines, no one is waiting, everyone is fully part of the action. That makes ClashRooms an intense and hilarious activity for everyone. Not one of those activities where at the end you see your colleagues or friends again and ask what they actually did. ClashRooms is one chunk of team building that will be talked about for a long time to come!
For all group sizes
ClashRooms can officially be played from 6 to as many as 60 people. But even with that, less and more is also possible. Even with 4 or 5 people, ClashRooms is still fun. And are you with more than 60 people? Then we can work together with our partners in Vibes Eindhoven. Some of the group may go paddling at Peakz Padel, or choose virtual dodgeball at Hado Eindhoven. Dinner included?
A team or company outing is often a combination of an activity plus communal dining. Try organizing that for a large group. At ClashRooms, it can be done under the same roof. For groups over 30 people, our partner can Link Kitchen provide a delicious Italian or Asian walking buffet. Activity + dinner immediately arranged, organization of the outing immediately finished!
Drinks on the side?
Last but not least, ClashRooms has three game rooms and a reception area. All four rooms have a refrigerator where groups can get their own drinks. So it's nice and relaxed, it can just be done between games, or even during. Afterwards, we pay for what has been consumed. Even with the refreshments, this makes us suitable for any group. Coffee and tea are available, but for a bachelor party the beer and wine are also cold. Everyone gets to make it a party in their own way!
By the way, that casual atmosphere is also reflected in the game activity. Need to go to the bathroom? No problem. Latecomer? Connect nicely. Make a phone call? I'm sure your team can manage without you. No stress, we want relaxation for your outing!
Personal guidance
What we also often get compliments on: our GameMasters! ClashRooms stands for personal connection. While the entire entertainment industry is looking for concepts that require as little personal supervision as possible, we 100% choose the opposite! Each group is welcomed by a GameMaster, who guides the entire booking and acts as your game leader in each room. The energy that pops through the rooms quickly builds a bond, which also makes each booking feel more like a party than work for our GameMasters. And vice versa, we feel just as much appreciation from our visitors from our reviews. It sounds so simple, but the personal approach is definitely something that sets us apart!
A unique experience
We conclude by saying that we truly provide our visitors with a unique experience. Our themed rooms are decorated with style, every opened door causes surprised faces. ClashRooms is completely new as a concept. So you are really going to do something different than the familiar bowling, laser gaming or karting. (And do you want to come again? No problem, we have enough games in each room to offer a unique experience time after time!)
We end each booking with a big team photo, which by default shows only happy faces. That's what we do it for, that's our success and that ensures our growth. And those photos are perhaps the best proof that what we say is true: ClashRooms is the ideal group outing!
